SITV Judging

Smoke in the Valley has grown from a fun competition with local pitmasters to a regional event with serious competitors in recent years. Therefore, we are always looking for trained BBQ judges to give our competitors the best evaluations. If you are a current or previously certified BBQ judge that would like to help us out, please email us at SITVCanisteo@gmail.com to be added to our panel of Judges. Judging gives you free entry into the event, a SITV T-Shirt and access to the best BBQ in the region!

A KCBS Certified BBQ Judging Class was held in Canisteo on 5/11/24 for 24 prospective judges to become certified. This event was a success and we plan to have another training in future years.
